Sunday, February 19, 2017 – With the rehab team in Ndanai

Today we drove from our hotel in Kericho to the Ndanai Small Home and Primary School to meet up with the Rehab team. It was great to see them working with local therapists. Currently, there are 10 mothers/grandmothers there with their disabled children/grandchildren; they will be staying at Ndanai for 3 days to learn more

Saturday, February 18, 2017 – Last clinic day in Kericho

Today was our last day of clinic in Kericho. Tomorrow, we will head off to the Maasai Mara for several clinics in two different locations. This evening we had a grand celebration for Wil’s birthday (part of the project assessment/research team) and for Joanne’s 10th trip to Kenya with ABW (part of the rehab team)!

Friday, February 17, 2017 – First day of clinic in Kericho

Today was our first full day of clinic in Kericho. We saw 39 restorative cases, 4 hygiene, 54 extractions, and 10 fillings. And it rained! On our way back to the hotel after the clinic we stopped at the Tea Hotel for some beautiful soapstone carvings. Tomorrow is another full day.
