About this Phase

As crucial as A Better World’s work in developing nations is, we also strive to assist those in need here in our own communities through the “Neighbours” Project. Our 2016 project is to build an addition onto the existing home of the Summers family that will include a master bedroom, accessible bathroom, and both an indoor and outdoor wheelchair ramp. A large number of family members are living in the one home to support each other through financial and health challenges. Not everyone is able to travel overseas—this is a perfect opportunity to volunteer and financially contribute to a local family in need.
