About this Phase

“We saved a baby! We saved a life!” shouted Esther, a midwifery nurse who had just finished training with Pediatricians Dr. Paulette Comeau (Red Deer, AB) and Dr. Charlotte Goodine (Medicine Hat, AB). “The first few minutes are so critical to avoid death and brain damage,” said Dr. Goodine during training. Using baby mannequins, the training has prepared more than 50 nurses to be fully equipped to deliver babies. Click ►HERE to see a sample of the training.
