To build 3 new classrooms
Ndanai Primary School is an integrated school in the Kericho area that admits disabled students along with fully able students. (The Ndanai Small Home for the disabled is located at the site.) When first discovered by ABW, the busy school consisted almost completely of deteriorating wooden structures on old concrete floors built several decades ago. It now has 14 mostly new classrooms with an older stone administration building. The student population is about 400 from preschool to Grade 8. Currently, there are 210 boys and 190 girls being educated by 9 male and 7 female teachers.
In 2008, ABW built its first two classrooms. By 2013 we had completed 12 classrooms, almost completely replacing the old structures. We also drilled a well on site that also serves the Small Home and the rest of the community.
