Dear Friends,

As we enjoy our warm homes with the cold weather shut outside, we hope you will consider supporting our second annual Cold Weather Walk for the Homeless. The Lacombe walk, inspired and led by ABW supporter Cathy Wright, will raise funds for the The Mustard Seed of Red Deer, which serves the homeless community and children in need.
 
We want to boost participation and drive up donations for this annual fundraiser. If you are interested in sponsoring one of the walkers, or in joining us for the walk on Sunday, Feb. 27, please see the information below.
 
Thank you for considering those less fortunate who do not have comfortable quarters in our frigid climate.

Cold Weather 2km Walk
 
Supporting The Mustard Seed of Red Deer, providing shelter, clothing and meals to those experiencing poverty or homelessness, and school lunch programs for children in need.
 
Meet us at the entrance to Cranna lake at 42 Woodland Drive.
This is an outdoor, 2km-walk of low difficulty. Be aware of and prepared for winter weather, with appropriate footwear for the paths at Cranna Lake.
This is a COVID safe event. Let’s all have fun!
