The students on our team were helping out in classrooms and the adults were doing the evaluation of the schools.
We visited the local village—this is where the students at our schools come from.
Then we were off to the opening of the Clinic in memory of Marilyn Trenchard. Two of her three sons were present for the opening. Mark has been travelling with the group since the trip started and David arrived from Australia for the opening and will be with us for the last few days. Mark gave an incredible speech and David added as well.
Today a local man was bitten by a black mamba and was being treated at the clinic. Juma is confident that he will recover well.
Tonight we celebrated Dalry’s Birthday and also thanked Rick and Cathy who will leave our group. Cathy to Canada and Rick to do more work in Northern Kenya.
