Senfi Junior High School

About the Project:  The students of Senfi Methodist Junior High School have outgrown their only school building. As a result, 128 other junior high school students are now using an old, makeshift woodwork building for their classes. Building a new school will provide them with a better learning environment.

About the Site: Senfi Methodist Junior High School is located in the Amansie East Municipal, Ashanti Region, in Ghana, Africa. It is situated about 2 km from the Dominase SDA Hospital, which has also received numerous forms of support in the past from ABW. The town has outgrown its only junior high school, and the 128 students there use an old, makeshift woodwork building as their school. When the children in this rural area have access to a decent school to study in, the likelihood of them staying in school and growing up to become responsible citizens increases significantly.
