Gilgil Highway School

About the Project: Gilgil highway school is located in a poor area of Kenya. As of right now, hundreds of students attend the school, consisting of poor and politically displaced families. Building these new classrooms will provide a better learning environment for the students and allow there to be a safer number of students in the classrooms.

About the Site: Gilgil Highway School is located in one of the most impoverished areas of Kenya, where families face extreme hardship. The community is marked by single-mother households, exploitative labor conditions, and widespread hunger. ABW plans to do a couple of projects at this school, including classrooms, toilets, a kitchen and water tanks.
