Humanitarian Trip Oct 20 – Nov 15, 2022

Today a group went to  the Genocide Memorial Museum and other sites to learn about the dark history of Rwanda. Another group went to explore the possibilities at Love with Actions.

Nice warm day in Kigali.  Visited a pottery Project supported by Debra Brosseuk.  The government has relocated the pottery group and construction is going on.  Later I will go and pick up the group.

The group has arrived and we are checked in at the Kigali Serena. Meeting and site visits around Kigali before we head out of the city to rural areas.

We now have seven of nine members of our team. Some are sleeping already from a long journey from Calgary.  I will pick up two more around midnight

Amsterdam airport is very busy.  So far the connection is on time. I have arrived in Kigali and will prepare for the team’s arrival in Saturday night.

Eric is on his way to Rwanda after two years ahead of 16 volunteers who will join in helping in Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya.
