Jacqui graduated from Burman University in 2016 with a BA in English. She was interning with A Better World for the last 3 years of her degree and began working full-time after graduation as the Communications Specialist. She has travelled to Kenya 4 times and taught at a high school near Nairobi for 10 months. She currently lives in Lacombe, Alberta, and is thoroughly enjoying her work with A Better World. Jacqui just started managing the Textbook Program in 2016. She is passionate about helping people in any way possible, especially through sustainable development.

“I’m so glad to be involved with A Better World. One aspect that sets this organization apart is the follow up. When you make a donation, you know exactly where it goes and who it helps—you can see photo updates and even travel to the project site to meet the community that you are impacting.”
