Fence

Jitengeni Disability School

About the Project: They are in need of many new structures as their current ones aren’t in good condition, or there are not enough for their number of students. Building new structures will not only improve safety, but also help with overcrowding. This project is to build a fence around the school for the safety of the students.

About the Site: Jitengeni school is highly committed to education and initiated classroom contraction before support arrived. The area is rural / semi urban. There are about 900 students at the school, who travel about 1-2 km to get to class. Poverty is a major issue in the area, with families often struggling to provide their kids with uniforms and other supplies
