Charuru Primary School

About the Project: Charuru Primary School needs new and renovated classrooms for their student body of over 200 students. Their current eight classrooms are in a bad state, and by building and renovating new classrooms, they will be able to continue their education safely.

About the Site: Charuru Primary School, established in 1972, is a public, mixed-day comprehensive school that includes early childhood development (ECD), primary, and junior school programs. The school is located in Charuru Village, Tigania East constituency, Meru County, Kenya. Currently, it has 243 students and 16 staff members. All of its buildings are in poor condition, including the classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and store. To ensure that 200+ students can continue their education safely, new classrooms are needed.
