About the Project: They have a small ECD population of about 30 students currently sharing one dark room, an attached meal room, and run-down toilets. This project will renovate and upgrade the ECD room, creating a brighter, more welcoming space for learning. There is also a need for two new septic toilets to replace the deteriorating ones. Lastly, the “porridge room” can be renovated for improved sanitation, with potential space for an office or storage.

About the Site: Manyatta Primary School is found in Rurii, Nyandarua County, about 46km east of Nakuru Town. The school started in 1981 and currently serves a population of about 1,200 people. There are 246 students enrolled at the school, from grades one to eight, with seven teachers employed. The school is managed by headteacher Ann Wambui Ng’ang’a.
