About the Project: The Ole Polos Kambi Turkana area has long suffered from acute water shortages. Currently, residents and institutions have been left without a dependable supply. Because of this, it has forced the local communities to travel more than 4km daily in search of water. This daily struggle has significantly affected school attendance and performance, as pupils often spend mornings fetching water instead of attending class

About the Site: Ole Polos is located in Kambi Muhindi village in the Gilgil subcounty, where ABW has developed several sites. Founded in 2011 with four mud classrooms, the school now serves nearly 650 students, including those in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and primary levels.
