Manyatta Secondary School

About the Project: This school is committed to supporting both the educational and nutritional needs of its students through an active feeding program. While the program plays a vital role in student wellbeing, the facilities available to prepare meals and support the school's operations need major improvements.

About the Site:  Manyatta Primary School is found in Rurii, Nyandarua County, about 46km east of Nakuru Town. The school started in 1981 and currently serves a population of about 1,200 people. There are 246 students enrolled at the school, from grades one to eight, with seven teachers employed. The school is managed by headteacher Ann Wambui Ng’ang’a.
