Monday, July 1, 2013 – Canada days starts off with Canadians arriving in Kenya to serve and make a better world

This morning 35 Canadians arrived.  10 teachers from Lethbridge and 25 from Central Alberta along with other supporters of this mission have arrived making a total 44 Canadians in Kenya.  They are all tired but excited to be here.

Central Alberta Group leaders are Brent and Kathleen Galloway, both educators.

First thing today after breakfast was getting people connected to the internet. Eddie, our ABW tech in Kenya met us and set us all up.

Once this was complete the two groups went in two different directions to begin their teaching teachers mission

I remained in Nairobi to pick up the 5 who missed their flight.

The Merle Jacobson family and Keith Leavitt arrived and we will begin our journey tomorrow morning and join the Lethbridge team.

Eddie is setting the girls up with connectivity to their friends.

My airport run started at 5:30 Am today and the last passenger checked in at 10:30 PM.
