Today was a great day as we celebrated the opening of Jitengeni Primary School. The head teacher Madam Jane died of a heart attack during the construction. The school was dedicated in her honour and to celebrate Canada 150 acts of compassion. 10 Canadians were on hand for the opening and four from the USA.
Enthusiastic singing from Jitengeni students.
We visited other projects in progress – girls dormitory.
Cathy Roozen, District Commissioner, and friends from Canada.
We went up to Irente Cliff for a nice view. It has been a long day.
