Kendu Bay Clubfoot Clinic

Surgeries for children with physical disabilities has been an ongoing ABW partnership with Kendu Adventist Hospital (KAH) for 30 years. The goal of this new clinic is to treat clubfoot deformities in children 0-3 years, through a series of casting and bracing, thus preventing the need for surgery and a lifetime of disability. In December 2020, ABW partnered with Clubfoot Kenya (CCK) to provide training in the Ponseti method for six KAH staff. ABW also funded a new rehabilitation building at KAH, completed in 2020, with adequate facilities for a clubfoot clinic.
