3 Classrooms, 2 Water Catchments & 4 Toilets
Olamuriaki Primary School
About the Project: The school needs improved classrooms, with enclosures that protect from the elements, as well as water tanks to provide water so more people can go to school.
About the Site: Olamuriaki Primary School is located in Lower Kotel Village, Naikarra sub-location, Mara Ward, Narok West, Kenya. The school was started in 2001 by community members and is located 5 kilometres from the nearest school, Naikarra Boarding School. A high level of illiteracy exists in the area, and the lack of a reliable water source makes it difficult for children to attend school. Currently, the school has one semi-permanent classroom and one permanent classroom built by the government.
