Ponoka School raises funds for ASC

The Ponoka Secondary Campus students have begun their 30-hour famine to help raise funds for the A Better World project. This year they have chosen to support the Red Deer Alternative School Centre with food for their students.  Pictured are the students who will spend 30 hours at the school with no food. It will end at 10:30 PM on Saturday.  Teachers Mrs. Lapointe and Mrs. Hoffman are supporting their efforts.  We had a very engaging discussion on poverty worldwide and at home as we launched the program this evening.
