Proceeds from Paul Kane High School Students’ Second “Project A” Dance to Improve Education in Kenya

Students from Paul Kane High School in St. Albert, AB presented a cheque for $1,000 to ABW this week. These funds were raised by the St. Albert Rotaract Club, run by Aulden Maj-Pfleger, to go towards purchasing textbooks for students in Kenya.

The funds were raised and matched through “Project A”, a dance attended by a few hundred students that was organized by the club on October 28 of this year.

This is not the first project that the club has supported—last year, they raised over $3,000 for the Kipkeremwo Primary School project in Kenya with a dance fundraiser.

A special thank-you to these students who have dedicated so much time in helping improve education for children in Kenya.
