Completed : JOGOO PRIMARY SCHOOL – 12 New Toilets

About the Project

A Better World has partnered with Jogoo Primary school previously to help renovate five classrooms. Now, toilets are a high priority for the school as the ones in use are in very poor condition. There are currently only six run-down toilets in use for girls and five for boys. The existing toilets are unsuitable for the 700 students and 17 teachers. There is also no water or handwashing on site, leading to poor health and sanitation issues. Jogoo Primary critically needs 12 new toilets: six for girls and six for boys with a urinal. ABW is supporting the students at Jogoo by providing 12 toilets which will include a water tank and a handwashing station.
