Needs Funding : KENDU BAY ADVENTIST HOSPITAL – SURGERY AND REHAB SERVICES

About the Project

Each year, in partnership with physicians from ADRA Finland, A Better World aims to complete a number of surgeries for children at the Kendu Bay Adventist Hospital. Patients come from as far as neighboring Tanzania and Uganda to receive treatment. Because surgeries are performed as they are funded, this is a constant and ongoing need which A Better World aims to fill. Due to the generosity of our donors, hundreds of children have already received life-changing procedures.

Surgery needed on the fractured elbow of an 11 year old boy.

5-year-old Lencer suffered very serious burn injuries when she wandered too close to the fire at home. Since then, her medical and physio bills have been covered by generous ABW donors, and she is now able to walk and feed herself again thanks to the incredible care of the KAH Pediatric team.
