About the School
Koige Primary School is a new project site for A Better World, the school was established in 1983. A neighbouring school was recently shut down by the Ministry of Education and Koige Primary has taken in over 100 students from the nearby school. There are now 745 students enrolled at Koige Primary, 382 are boys and 363 are girls. The Head Teacher, John Bariwot has worked with A Better World at previous school projects. There are 15 primary teachers, 4 male teachers and 11 female teachers. The school teaches ECD to standard class 8.
