About the School

Manyatta Primary School is found in Rurii, Nyandarua County, about 46km east of Nakuru Town. The school started in 1981 and currently serves a population of about 1,200 people. There are 246 students enrolled at the school, from grades one to eight, with seven teachers employed. The school is managed by headteacher Ann Wambui Ng’ang’a.


The kitchen is dark and compact.

Both levels of ECD are packed into one old classroom in poor condition.

Parents built a separate toilet for ECD children in a small, iron-sheet structure.
