About the School
Ndanai Primary School is an integrated school in the Kericho area that admits disabled students along with fully abled students. (The Ndanai Small Home for the Physically Challenged is also located at this site.) When first discovered by ABW, the busy school consisted almost completely of deteriorating wooden structures on old concrete floors built several decades ago. It now has 14 mostly new classrooms with an older stone administration building. The student population is about 400 from preschool to Grade 8. Currently, there are 210 boys and 190 girls being educated by 9 male and 7 female teachers.
