About the Site
Passenga is a community of about 10,000 in Nyandarua County, east of Nakuru. A request has been standing for several years to build a clinic on 2 acres owned by the county to replace rental space. Building a permanent clinic on county land will allow the county to improve services to Passenga. Money currently spent on rent can go toward equipping and staffing the facility, which is currently served by only two nurses. As services continue to grow, the building can be expanded with a second phase. The current facility sees 30-40 patients a day, and there are no other services for about 14km in any direction.
