Completed : KOIGE PRIMARY SCHOOL – 10 New Toilets

About the Project

After ABW built six boys’ toilets in 2022, girls and teachers were still left with deficient facilities. In 2023, ABW built six doors of girls’ toilets and four for the teachers. The teachers’ toilets were aging and the men’s lone toilet was in very bad condition. With water on-site, piped in from the county water supply by ABW in 2023, all toilets are equipped with handwashing stations as well.

Students and staff have access to new clean toilets now.

The construction of the new toilets is almost complete.

Toilet pits are lined with stone so they can be pumped out.

Many of the toilets onsite are aging.

Head teacher John Bariwot will appreciate the new teachers’ toilets.

This toilet block, built for boys last year, will be duplicated for girls.
