Completed : KOIGE PRIMARY SCHOOL – 6 CLASSROOM RENOVATIONS

About the Project

Six of the classrooms that were previously condemned have since been inspected by an A Better World volunteer, with building expertise and a contractor. The building has now been deemed usable, but the classrooms will require some structural renovations. An average class size in Kenya has approximately 45 students. Koige’s Class 4 has 79 students, Class 5 has 94, and Class 7 has 91. With these classrooms in use once more, it will help to alleviate the overcrowding and give the students the opportunity to reach their full potential.
