Completed : MAU SUMMIT PRIMARY SCHOOL – 6 Classroom Block Renovation

About the Project

A Better World has had the opportunity to previously work with Mau Summit Primary to renovate a seven-classroom block. The CDF (Constituency Development Funds) also contributed recently by constructing 20 boys’ and girls’ toilets. Now, the next phase of renovating the six classrooms at the Mau Summit primary school that were in poor condition is completed. The tin roofing was old and rusted, causing it to leak during the rainy season. None of the classrooms had cement floors, and the flooring was uneven and sloped. The broken windows were replaced as well as the doors. The six renovated classrooms will provide a better teaching and learning environment for Mau Summit’s teachers and students. Water harvesting was also installed at the school.
