Completed : MUCHORWE PRIMARY SCHOOL – Block of 5 Classrooms and Office Renovation

About the Project

An older block of classrooms had leaking roofs and suffered from overland flooding during strong rains. One of the five classrooms flooded to the point that it couldn’t be used. The classroom floors were pitted, and the plaster was falling off the walls. Renovating these classrooms and the incorporated cluster of small offices assured they can be used continuously during the year as well as improved the learning environment for the students and the teachers with a cleaner, brighter space.

Floors are especially bad in many classrooms.

Leaking roofs and overland flooding render some classrooms unusable in the rainy season.
