In Progress : Muchorwe Primary School – Block of 5 Classrooms and Office Renovation

About the Project

An older block of classrooms has leaking roofs and suffers from overland flooding during strong rains. One of the five classrooms floods to the point that it cannot be used. The classroom floors are pitted, and the plaster Is falling off the walls. Renovating these classrooms and the incorporated cluster of small offices will assure they can be used continuously during the year as well as improve the learning environment for the students and the teachers with a cleaner, brighter space.

Many of the existing classrooms are in poor condition.

Floors are especially bad in many classrooms.

This classroom was flooded so badly it couldn’t be used.

Leaking roofs and overland flooding render some classrooms unusable in the rainy season.
