About the Project
ABW renovated five classrooms in 2023 at Muchorwe Comprehensive School and did some landscaping work. With Junior Secondary School being added to the primary school, a feeding program is required by the government and the school now needs a new kitchen facility. The current kitchen structure is little more than a supported roof with a firepit. A new kitchen would provide a safer and weatherproof environment for the staff to prepare meals for the students. The project would also include wood-burning Jiko stoves that are more efficient and allow easier production of more food.
