Needs Funding : MURINDU HIGHWAY PRIMARY – 12 New Toilets

About the Project

With a student population of more than 1560 that grows by the week, Murindu Primary can never get enough toilets. A few toilets were built recently – six doors for girls and 5 doors plus a urinal for boys – with about as many older pit latrines that are almost full and soon to be condemned. Adding 12 new toilets with septic tanks will respond to the immediate need and provide longer-lasting toilets that can be pumped out. A small water catchment system will also increase the frequency of handwashing.
