About the Project
A new partner with A Better World, Murindu’s first needs to be met were to replace old, dilapidated classrooms with new stone buildings. Many of the current classrooms were dark, hot and cramped, with dirt floors and walls of metal sheets, boards or worn panelling. They offered a poor learning environment and limited protection from the elements. New classrooms are equipped with rain gutters and collection tanks to help preserve water for the school.
