About the Project
Murindu Highway Primary School is a fairly new partner with A Better World in Nakuru County. In 2023 ABW built four new classrooms for the school. There were many further needs though. One of them was a need of a new kitchen. The kitchen now provides a cleaner and safer place for staff to store, prepare and serve food. The absence of food contributed to truancy as the children spent the day finding other ways to feed themselves, while the presence of food at the school now improves attendance and helps the students focus on their studies.
