Completed : NTEPES SCHOOL – 6 Toilets

About the Project

Ntepes school accommodates 53 students (23 girls and 30 boys). It is located in a remote and poor community that lacks water and health facilities. In fact, this community often hosts mobile clinics from the Naikarra Health Centre.

Ntepes school has only 1 latrine for the students and teachers, with no water. Lack of proper hygiene can lead to the transmission of communicable diseases that can negatively impact students resulting in frequently missed days from school. A Better World will construct 6 Toilets – 3 Girls, 2 Boys and 1 for the teachers. Water Harvesting will be included to ensure hand washing is available to the students and staff.
