About the Project
Nyangajo bridge was built in a Kenyan community, where locals crossed the river daily. Rainwater often overflowed the banks and made the strong current very dangerous for crossing. Pat Romerman, an Alberta engineer, designed a pedestrian bridge to eliminate the need to cross the dangerous waist-deep waters. The project is now in need of minor repairs, mostly involving the repainting of the bridge.
