Completed : SIMOTWET PRIMARY SCHOOL – 12 Toilets

About the Project

Access to adequate sanitation services has proven to be one of the most efficient ways of improving student health. Additional benefits of proper sanitation facilities include improved safety, well-being privacy, productivity and dignity, which can lead to improved academic performance of students. The previous toilets at the school were dilapidated and unsafe for the students to use. For these reasons, 12 new toilets were built for the Simotwet Secondary students. Six stalls were built for the girls and six stalls were built for the boys.
