About the School
Mwisho wa Shamba Primary School is a new project site for A Better World, the school was established in 1976. There are 895 students who attend school here, 85 students are in the ECD program and 810 are primary students, in total there are 443 boys and 452 girls. The school has 1 female teacher to teach the ECD class and 18 primary teachers, 3 male teachers and 15 female teachers, who teach Class 1 to Class 7. The area has a population of approximately 3,689. The closest source of clean water to the school is a pipeline roughly 1.7 km away and their closest health services is the Mombo Health Centre.
