Completed : VUGA CLINIC – WATER TANK

About the Project

This project was undertaken to meet a goal set out by the village leadership which envisioned a future in which every household had access to clean water. The tank was built to hold 100,000 litres of water which can be pumped through a series of pipelines to roughly 3,000 people. Previously, the village residents had used dirty water from the nearby stream for washing clothes and for basic hygiene needs, but the water was tarnished with refuse and animal waste. With the new water tank however, residents are able to have access to clean water to meet these needs.
