Rick Wiebe Travel Blog – Nakuru

I arrived at the Huhoini school and they had the whole school come and welcome me. Most of the kids have never seen a “white” guy before, they know they exist but I am the first one they have seen up front. Crazy!

They even welcomed me with some gifts to show their appreciation.

Me and the teaching staff at Huhoini.

Having fun with the kids, you can tell I was a youth leader for 15 years.

Brand new ECD classrooms. Boy they look good.

Compared to the original classrooms.

This is what the classrooms liked like, these are the last that we are renovating. What a job! Lots of labour.

Being greeted by the whole school. These kids have never seen a white person in person ever. I hope I gave them a good first impression.
