Another full day of happiness and sadness. Our day started with a an hour drive to the top of a mountain to the Patema Secondary School surrounded by a tea plantation. We are here to open 3 labs for a secondary high school for 300 students.
Staff housing for a family of 3 was also opened as the school is in a remote location. Students walk up to 9 KM to school.

In the afternoon, we went to assess a new school called Jitengeni Primary School. There are 800 students and the place is falling apart one brick at a time.
Discussion is underway with Head Mistress Jane and A Better World as to how we can partner together to rebuild the school.
