Before we left Arusha to a remote town called Korogwe I saw Dr. Larry Herr enjoying tea with a book. He was fascinated by the trees around our lodge.
While my team drove the 6 hours to get to Korogwe, I was fortunate to fly here in 50 minutes with Cathy Roozen and her team. We landed in this grass runway.
We made several project visits today. There are 15 of us here now. We opened two water and sanitation projects.
We scoped out new projects to fund – like replacing this classroom.
In the evening, we met with the local MP, Town Director, and the District Commissioner to plan our day tomorrow for opening a school.
A Better World soccer team.
