Last month marked the beginning of construction for a new X-Ray Room at Talek Health Centre in the Maasai Mara (Kenya). The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by several clinic staff, community members, and local chief. After months of research and in-person meetings with the clinic head physician in February, we are excited to take the first steps to providing this service—the nearest X-Ray currently available to this rural community is 3 hours away by public transportation.
