Kwelukonge Primary School

About the Project: With only 14 student toilets and two for teachers, there is an urgent need for four more classrooms to manage the growing enrollment.

About the Site: Kwelukonge Primary School, about 22 km from the Arusha–Dar es Salaam highway, was built by the community in 1958 and registered by the government in 1959, which later added more classrooms. Serving six villages, the school now has six classrooms and one office for 800 students—over 126 per classroom.
