Thursday, March 17, 2016 – A 3rd visit to Kericho and progress report

In the past 15 days I have been in Kericho 3 times.  I gathered all of the school head teachers , board chairs again in the Kericho area and this time we met  in Tulwap.  The meeting went very well. I was also pleasantly surprised as to how they have moved ahead since the last time.  We reviewed the new model for project implementation and asked what loopholes there were for any corruptions. I also had the auditor with us for discussion.  Here are the people I met up with.

Gideon Bett – Table banking auditor whom we have worked with is a bright guy with access to Govt. contractors and prices.

He will review all BQ change and approve before ABW accepts it. Gideon will do this with local school principals.

He will do interim audits. Later at supper the Limos with the tea plantation auditor joined us and set up the audit process for Gideon. I handed over the records we have for the  projects that will be audited.

I also went to see a new tile layer in a house some African – American people are building,  A back up for the tile laying in the Tulwap ECD.
