About this Project: At A Better World, we believe that every child deserves not only the chance to learn but also the dignity of a safe and clean environment. That’s why in every school we build, we are committed to providing proper toilets and sanitation facilities. Access to clean toilets reduces disease, supports health and well-being, and especially empowers girls to stay in school during critical years of their education. Our goal is to invest $200,000 annually to ensure that every new school is equipped with adequate sanitation — because the lack of something so basic should compromise no child’s education.
