Our trip to Kenya and Tanzania has begun. Brian Corkum and I are traveling today and have arrived in Amsterdam. We will connect to Kenya in a few hours. The group departs tomorrow from Canada and USA.

We spent most of the day in meetings with our project partners and local MP, Joseph Limo.
In the afternoon Brian went out to see some sights including this kiss from a giraffe.
In the evening, the group arrived. We are now 11 in total.

We began our trip towards Lake Naivasha with a stop at an elephant orphanage and a boat ride on the lake.
Tomorrow we begin our work in Gilgil.
