A Better World provides opportunities for volunteers to travel in groups, see completed projects and projects in progress, and to be helping hands. Yearly trips are planned to different countries with varied emphasis. People from all walks of life join group trips and assist in any way they can. Some trips are specific in nature, such as medical or educational.
The EDGE trip is designed for University Students. The trip introduces the students to real world development issues. They participate in evaluating projects and planning for the future of a community. Students meet with community leaders and students. Based on their academic program they are matched to the projects.
Daily discussions and training is part of the day’s activities
“Thank you so much for giving us this amazing experience. Without you, this trip would not have happened and my life wouldn’t have changed the way it has.”
