Wednesday. November 12, 2014 – Arriving in Kericho – the tea plantation capital of Kenya

We had a fun travel day to Kericho.  Stopping at the Sogobet School. It has become a favorite spot for a stop and to see the progress in just a few years.  Warren Schnoor and family of Lacombe are developing this school.

Today was the last day of school and children were patiently waiting for school to be over

Then on to a picnic lunch at a beautiful park

Most went to a tea factory while others went shopping. We arrived at the Exotic Hotel which is set amidst a tea plantation. Some hungry people enjoying a snack on arrival.

Behind the scenes doing a lot of the technical work for the medical team is Glenn Hutton. Always willing to do whatever is needed.
